タルトはザクザクがイイ! - pâtissrie SYANTEI -

そう。。。フォークをさして、手ごたえがしっかりあるタルトが好き♪
ブサ! ザク! で ガチっとお皿で音がしちゃったりして。
で、そのまま勢いで飛んでっちゃったりして。
そのくらいの。

そしてバターの香りいっぱい、がいいな~

でもどこのケーキ屋さんのがそんなだったか、記憶になく、
現在探し求めている次第であります。

I like tarts.
Especially, the tarts they have tartlet dough with hard texture.
Kind of ... when I stick a fork into the tart, the dough breaks with sound.
And it's fun to see scatter its pieces!


The tartlet dough should be full of fragrance of butter.

I do not remember which cake shop make those kinds of tart, though.
So, I am looking for it!

The other day, I ate two pieces of cakes of pâtissrie SYANTEI.
One was berry & chocolate tart.
It's dough was rather hard, but was not the one I expected.

The other cake was pumpkin pudding cake.
I also like this kind of cake with soft texture.
There were many kinds of value cakes.
That's one of the reason why I like the cake shop.

One day, I had a breakfast at a healing cafe in Motosu, called "yulara".

After having breakfast, I bought 2 kinds of sweets
and took them back to my house.
I could not help buying them because they looked so yummy!

I ate a cut of apple tart with coffee in that afternoon.
There was a lot of simmered apple in it.
It was very American style with crumbles.

As for the other one, maccha & cream cheese muffin was for my breakfast.
As its rough appearance, it had a crunchy texture, and I really liked it!

I wanna go there again to have lovely breakfast
and to see a wonderful owner.

I was working till late on Christmas,
so I just celebrated only with a Christmas cake which I had reserved.

It was a chocolate roll cake of "ANGELINA".
The patisserie is famous for its Mont Blanc cake.
So, the chestnut paste cream on the roll cake was really delicious!

なにか派手なことはしてませんが。。。
今年は秘かにシュトーレンを買ってクリスマス前に少しづつ楽しむという
正統派なことをしてみました♪

ですがこちらは"MARY JOSE"さんの「栗のシュトーレン」。

As for the Christmas, I did not do any showy things this year.

But I did one orthodox thing.
I bought stollen and enjoyed eating it little by little secretly before Christmas.

I do not really like stollen, because it's normally full of nuts and dried fruits.
I am not good at some kinds of nuts, actually.
But when I went to "Mary Jose" to buy some gift,
I happened to find a kind of stollen with chestnut and it contained only a little nuts.

I liked the stollen that was full of chestnut paste and marrons glaces.
I thought I would like to buy it next year, too!

And there, I also found a lovely tiny Christmas cake, and I could not help buying it.
I ate it as pre-celebration.
Of course, I bought another Christmas cake on the Christmas eve.

When I leaving a cafe after having breakfast,
I bought a scone and took it to my home.
I could not help buying it because I knew it was really nice!

I of course knew that scone went nice with black tea though, I ate it with coffee.
Recently I rarely drink tea at home.

The scone had swelled nicely!

I spread it with persimmon jam.
I made the jam, this year, too.
It tasted so so nice as usual.

"A Yu Ready? " 懐かしの岐阜銘菓♪

小さい頃からなじみのあるお菓子、鮎菓子。
去る11月20日、鮎菓子のイベントが開かれてたので行ってきました~♪

鮎菓子が売ってるお店って、岐阜市内だけでも30店舗近くもあるんですって!
鮎菓子食べ放題とかもやってたけど。。。
いくつか購入して帰ることにしました。

代表格、玉井屋本舗さんの「登り鮎」。抹茶味とプレーン。

小ぶりでスマートなのが特徴。

イベント限定のお味! 金蝶堂さんと敷島珈琲さんのコラボ「上り鮎」。
コーヒーとジンジャー。

生姜味、イケますよ。 求肥がとっても柔らかでした。

お店によって名前や形、顔の感じなんかも違って面白ーい♪

個人的にはこの↑写真の上の「鮎太郎」(香梅さん)がいちばん好きかな~。。。
大き目で、トローンとした食感の求肥がたっぷり入ってて お髭も可愛い。

"Ayugashi" is a Japanese sweets which shape is like a sweetfish.
It is famous since I was a child.
On November 20th, there was an event of Ayugashi, and I went there.

The brochure said that there were over 30 Ayugashi shops in Gifu city.

There had been a special event of Ayugashi all-you-can-eat,
but I just bought some Ayugashi and went home.

Here are some pictures of them.

Plain and Macha taste Ayugashi called "Noboriayu"
which were made by popular Ayugashi shop of "Tamaiyahonpo".
They were slender in small sizes.

Event-limited taste of coffee and ginger Ayugashi
called "Noboriayu" which were made by "Kinchodo" and "Shikishima coffee".
Ginger taste was quite nice, and Gyuhi was very soft.

It was interesting that each shop has its own name and shape and taste.
My favorite Ayugashi was the one called "Ayutaro" made by Kobai.
It was big and Gyuhi was very soft.
I also liked its face which had a cute mustache.

I felt that Ayugashi is a nice and tasty Japanese sweets once again.

事故の直前に行ってたんです~💦

そのとき買ってきた自分土産。
不思議なネーミングとシュールなイラストに惹かれ。。。

A few weeks ago, near the Fukuoka station,
a portion of the road suddenly sank in.
It have already accomplished dramatic restoration.

I had been there just before the accident.
So, I was surprised to hear the news.

Here's a souvenir sweet for myself which I bought at Fukuoka station.
I was attracted by its unique name and surreal illustration.

It was said on the brochure that
the cake was baked by Portuguese grandmother in a forest.

The steamed bun was similar to "Nagoyan",
but the white bean paste was made with custard,
so it was moist and rather sweet.

It had a nostalgic taste and warmed my heart.

花フェスタ記念公園で薔薇を楽しんだ帰り。。。
すぐ近くにできた恵那川上屋のカフェへ。

お目当ては、期間限定・数量限定の"栗一筋"。

After we enjoyed seeing roses in Flower Park in Kani,
we dropped in a newly opened cafe.
It was the cafe by popular sweets shop "Ena Kawakamiya".

The purpose was to eat "Kurihitosuji"
which was limited-time and limited-number chestnut cake.

I asked a set of coffee and chestnut soft ice cream and "Kurihitosuji".
Others ordered just coffee and we shared the ice cream and cake.

The ice cream was of course good,
but it was no much for the huge Mont Blanc cake!
There was light and crunchy baked meringue
and 2 kinds of cream inside of the cake.

The paste of the chestnut was gently sweeted,
and was full of genuine chestnut flavor.
Maybe I could eat it all by myself!

I think this will be a regular event of us.

季節限定の和菓子♪

栗のお菓子。
モンブランもいいけど、和菓子もいいですよね~♪
先日、美味しい栗粉餅を求めて市内のお店へ。
某超有名店ではなく、地元民が愛する隠れ家的名店。

お昼頃に伺ったのですがすでに売り切れ💦
泣く泣く帰ろうと思った矢先、キャンセルがありラッキーにも入手!

冷凍物でなく、栗が採れる時期だけ販売される本物だから、栗の味が濃い~

お餅も混ぜ物無しだから、早く食べないと固くなっちゃう。。。
でもそういう制限付きだからこその味わい。

大変おいしくいただきました♪ 貴重な地元の方の情報、に感謝!

Sweets made of the chestnut.
Not to mention "Mont Blanc cake", but I also like Japanese chestnut sweets.

The other day,
I went to a shop to buy some delicious "Kuriko-mochi" in Gifu city.
It was not a popular shop.
I heard from a local person that there was the other shop
which sells more nice Kuriko-mochi.

I arrived at the shop just after noon, but it had already sold out!
I was really shocked!
But when I decided to return home with tears, there was a cancellation.
So, I got some pieces of Kuriko-mochi luckily.

It is only sold at the time when the chestnuts were harvest.
It had rich chestnuts flavor,
because it's not made with frozen chestnuts powder.

The rice cake was also genuine, it becomes hard quite soon.
But I think such limitations make it more valuable.

It really was tasty.

新しくなった"PEHCE"さんのお菓子♪

9月4日移転・リニューアルオープンされた"PEHCE"さん。
新店舗はイートインスペースも付いててとってもオシャレ♪
おひとりさまでカフェタイムが似合う感じ。。。

久しぶりのこちらのケーキ。相変わらずシンプルながらも美しい。

I went to Patisserie "Peche" which had been moved and reopened on Sep 4th.
There was eat-in space in the new shop and it was very stylish.
It looked good for coffee and sweets break by oneself, too.

I ate their cake after a long absence,
but it was beautiful as ever though being simple.

Paris-Brest
It was made of crispy choux pastry and rich praline.

Chocolate and Pistachio cake
I just tasted it a little.
It was not so heavy as I expected.
I liked the combination between different texture and tastes.

The new shop could be used in different scenes.
I want to go there again in the near future.
