I had a breakfast at a cafe that specialized in galette. I think there's no other such cafe in Gifu.
Breakfast gallete was 500 yen. The day's mini galette was made with spinach. Galette is French local dish which looks like crepe, but it is made with buckwheat flour. The texture of the crepe was crispy and chewy.
The egg inside the galette was very soft. It had a delicate and deep flavor of buckwheat.
There was another breakfast with toast. It was only drink fee. I heard that the scrambled egg which was with toast was also soft and delicious!
Both breakfast set had dessert of the mini-chiffon cake, and I liked it, too!
