The other day, when I arrived at home, I found a something strange thing on the dining table. It was a very rare fruit called "Pawpaw".
I looked it up on the internet and found out that the fruit was originally from North America. I liked its cute name!
We cut it in half and removed its black seeds and ate with spoon.
It had slightly strong fragrance, and was having a scent of tropical fruit. The texture was kind of clammy and was like a avocado. And the taste... it's hard to explain. Well, People say it tastes mixture of mango and banana and pineapple.
In Japan, it was spread as garden trees widely after the war. Because it was able to cultivate without pesticide. But it gradually became outdated for no particular reason.
By the way, it was called "custard apple" in America. That reminded me of something. I think I saw the word in somewhere when I went to America.
Whether it was delicious or not, it was good to be able to eat such a rare fruit.
