季節限定の和菓子♪

栗のお菓子。
モンブランもいいけど、和菓子もいいですよね~♪
先日、美味しい栗粉餅を求めて市内のお店へ。
某超有名店ではなく、地元民が愛する隠れ家的名店。

お昼頃に伺ったのですがすでに売り切れ💦
泣く泣く帰ろうと思った矢先、キャンセルがありラッキーにも入手!

冷凍物でなく、栗が採れる時期だけ販売される本物だから、栗の味が濃い~

お餅も混ぜ物無しだから、早く食べないと固くなっちゃう。。。
でもそういう制限付きだからこその味わい。

大変おいしくいただきました♪ 貴重な地元の方の情報、に感謝!

Sweets made of the chestnut.
Not to mention "Mont Blanc cake", but I also like Japanese chestnut sweets.

The other day,
I went to a shop to buy some delicious "Kuriko-mochi" in Gifu city.
It was not a popular shop.
I heard from a local person that there was the other shop
which sells more nice Kuriko-mochi.

I arrived at the shop just after noon, but it had already sold out!
I was really shocked!
But when I decided to return home with tears, there was a cancellation.
So, I got some pieces of Kuriko-mochi luckily.

It is only sold at the time when the chestnuts were harvest.
It had rich chestnuts flavor,
because it's not made with frozen chestnuts powder.

The rice cake was also genuine, it becomes hard quite soon.
But I think such limitations make it more valuable.

It really was tasty.

I went to a flower park in Konan for the first time in about a half year.
There were cosmoses blooming there, the representative flower of autumn.
Both of normal Cosmos and Cosmos sulphureus Cav.

In the circumference of the fountain, I could see some kinds of water lilies.
I loved the purple contest with one of them and the amethyst sage.

I went there last weekend, and was a good weather for flower viewing.

新しくなった"PEHCE"さんのお菓子♪

9月4日移転・リニューアルオープンされた"PEHCE"さん。
新店舗はイートインスペースも付いててとってもオシャレ♪
おひとりさまでカフェタイムが似合う感じ。。。

久しぶりのこちらのケーキ。相変わらずシンプルながらも美しい。

こちらは味見のみ。濃そうだったけど、見た目よりライトでした。
好きなテイストが詰まってた♪

以前よりの利用の幅が広がったから、またお邪魔したいな~

I went to Patisserie "Peche" which had been moved and reopened on Sep 4th.
There was eat-in space in the new shop and it was very stylish.
It looked good for coffee and sweets break by oneself, too.

I ate their cake after a long absence,
but it was beautiful as ever though being simple.

Paris-Brest
It was made of crispy choux pastry and rich praline.

Chocolate and Pistachio cake
I just tasted it a little.
It was not so heavy as I expected.
I liked the combination between different texture and tastes.

The new shop could be used in different scenes.
I want to go there again in the near future.

秋のおたのしみスイーツ♪

秋にはやっぱり、芋・栗・カボチャのスイーツ♪

で、毎年楽しみなのが手作りのカボチャプリン。
今年もいただきました~

At this time of year, the sweets of potato, chestnut, and pumpkin are so common.

Well, I look forward to eat pumpkin pudding
that is made by my acquaintance every year.
The other day, I got it this year, too!!

I think its quality is evolving year by year.

It was so smooth, and I also like its delicious caramel sauce.

今更ながら初体験 - 今庄そば道場 -

福井旅の2日目、越前市からの帰り、今庄に立ち寄り♪

初の蕎麦打ち体験!
写真は切ったとこからだけど。。。ちゃんと粉を纏めるとこからやりました。
今庄の「そば」は山芋を使うことが特徴的。

これで1こね分。 二人で何とか食べられる量かな?

ちょっと太いのもあるけど。。。まあまあの出来。
お味、のど越しはなかなか良かったです。また来たいかも♪

On the second day of the "trip to Fukui",
we drove from Echizen city to Imajo, and dropped in a site
which we could experience making soba.
It was my first experience to do that.

Though there were no pictures,
we properly started from kneading powder with water.
The soba style of Imajo was characterized by using yam.

After we finished making soba, we boiled and ate it.
There were 6 plates of it.
We could eat it all somehow by two people.

Some were a bit wide, but I think we made it quite nicely.

It tasted so good and went down the throat well.

I want to go there again and try that in the future!

越前にて - そば蔵 谷川 - 

そもそもの福井旅は美味しい蕎麦を求めてのこと。
越前市にあるこちらのお蕎麦屋さんへ行ってきました。

おろし蕎麦が有名だけど、わたしはもりそばを。

手挽き太打ち、だけにこのザラザラ感。風味もかなり良い♪

とっても久しぶりに美味しい蕎麦をいただき満足♪

The first purpose of the visit Fukui was to eat delicious buckwheat noodles.
I chose the "Tanigawa" in Echizen city.

Most popular style in Fukui is Oroshi-soba, but this time, I ate Mori-soba.
It was made of 100% stone-ground local buckwheat flour by hand,
and cut in very wide.

I also tasted buckwheat dumpling with Zenzai soup.
The dumpling was fresh and very fluffy!!

I enjoyed eating nice buckwheat noodle after a long absence.
